Crypto Valley Meets by the Swiss Blockchain Federation
Dacoco CEO and Alien Worlds Cofounder Saro McKenna joined other leading blockchain entrepreneurs at the Swiss Parliament for a high-level event hosted by the Swiss Blockchain Federation.
The gathering highlighted Switzerland’s commitment to maintaining its leadership in blockchain innovation through open dialogue between policymakers and industry leaders.
“Honored to be among the 30 top blockchain entrepreneurs invited to the Swiss Federal Parliament to discuss and celebrate the successful partnership between government and industry in establishing Switzerland as a global hub of blockchain-based innovation.
The focus of the discussions centered on continuing to offer regulatory clarity, including enabling cantonal tax payments in Bitcoin. Visionary leadership from Heinz Tännler, now President of the Swiss Blockchain Federation and Finance Director of Zug, played a central role in shaping these pro-crypto policies.
Today, collaboration between cantonal governments and the Swiss federal authorities continues to drive forward blockchain-friendly legislation. Leaders like Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin, Senator Ruedi Noser, and Council of States member Matthias Michel are helping ensure Switzerland remains competitive on the global stage,” said McKenna.
